Dare To Wear A DressThere is just something about a dress that screams "woman!" Wearing a dress is a sure-fire way to feel more like a woman, bring out your inner girl and lift your spirits. Why don't we wear more dresses? Wearing a dress takes a bit of courage -- it's a bold move. The dress has a little bit of "look at me" in it and sometimes we might not want to be noticed.
This article has some great tips for choosing a dress on your plus size body.

Plus Size Dresses From The Past
The first source we will consider when looking at how to wear a dress are beautiful women from the past. We will go back in time to an era when "plus size" was not unusual but considered beautiful. What can we learn from the women of this time? Let's examine first some paintings from the Renaissance era and see how they wear their dresses.
The first lady we will look at is from a painting by Titian called The Woman At Her Toilet. The women is thought to be a model We don't know her name but we do know that Titian chose her to appear in several of his works. The other painting we will examine is by Peter Paul Rubens and it is also named The Woman At Her Toilet. Both of the women would be considered plus size according to today's standards.
What can we learn from these Renaissance beauties and the way they dress? Let's take the lessons from them to apply to today's dressing.

Principles For Choosing Plus Size Dresses

1.Create a corset by drawing in the smallest place in your body. Look for a dress that creates a waist for you at your smallest part, often right below the bust line. If the dress does not have this shape built into it, consider accessories such a belt or a scarf to create this silhouette. If you are blessed with a natural waist, emphasize it. If you don't have much of a waist, create a faux waist by cinching in the smallest part of your silhouette, either through the cut of the dress, or by accessorizing.

2.The skirt part should flow out from the waist, or created waist. This creates a pleasing silhouette. Notice how their skirt is made to flow outwards. When the skirt part flows out, it camouflages a large tummy and hips.

3.Emphasize your assets. Both of these dresses feature an open neckline that emphasizes the women's neck and bustline. Flattering necklines for the plus size woman are the v-neck the sweetheart neckline and the scoop neckline. Some plus size women feel that because they are big in some places, they are "not allowed" to show off their best parts. This is nonsense! None of us are perfect but showing off our best parts does bring less attention to the other parts.

Good Plus Size Dress ChoicesHere are some specific styles to consider when shopping for your plus size dress. These styles are great for many plus sized women, but be sure to try different styles on, to see how they work on your particular body. All of these dresses help to create that fantastic hourglass silhouette.

a.A-line dress is a classic shape that tucks in at the waist and gently tapers down. This kind of dress is flattering for most body types.

b.Pintuck dress is one of the most recent trends that is very beautiful. It is actually a modified A-line style that features a flowing skirt for a flirty look.

c.Wrap (or faux wrap) dress is a shape that is very compatible with a bigger woman's body because it is adjustable to any body and hugs the curves very well. Just be sure that there is enough material in the dress to cover your body.

d.Maxi dress is a style that can be attractive for a plus size girl if care is taken to choose the right style. For maxi dresses, be sure to maintain a defined waist and do not allow that loose "mu-mu" look. As well, you may wish to consider a side split to break up the bulk of a maxi dress.

e.An open neckline at the top also helps to offset the long length of the dress.Shark bite hem dress is a very lovely style that features an assymetrical hemline. This dress line is very flattering for a bigger girl because it creates a diagonal, which makes the woman look less big.

f.Con dresses are known as bar dresses and are very tight. For evening wear, they can be very attractive and tend to tuck a woman in very well. These dresses are very revealing, though, and do tend appeal to women in their twenties.

  • Koala Mattress-In-a-Box: The Perfect Australian Mattress

WHY IS THE KOALA MATTRESS SO PERFECT?

Koala have literally re-invented the mattress! Their unique Kloud Comfort Layer has their famous Zero Disturbance Technology that you won’t find anywhere else! Combined with their lively base, your body weight is distributed evenly throughout the mattress ensuring you a blissful sleep every night of the year! Koala are so confident that you’ll fall in love with their mattresses that  in the event you aren’t getting the best sleep of your life, they will allow you to return your mattress in the first 120 days for a full refund!

We’ve very quickly fallen in love with our mattress and are sleeping like babies so we could be here all day telling you why Koala is the perfect Australian mattress but I’ll just sum up into the top reasons:

Koala have literally re-invented a good night’s sleep. They’ve slept on and tested hundreds of mattresses in order to ensure their mattress gives you the best sleep, every single night.
The mattress is made of two custom layers which together create the world’s most comfortable bedding technology in one mattress! They describe it as being “as close as you’ll get to sleeping on a cloud” and we can attest to this fact. Our mattress isn’t too soft and it isn’t too hard, it literally provides the perfect amount of firmness and softness all in one. It’s hard to describe just how right they have got it until you sleep on one of their mattresses for yourself.
It is not too hot and not too cold. The Koala mattress has been designed specifically for the Australian climate promising it will be cool to touch in summer and cosy warm on winter nights. This was something that really grabbed our attention as there is nothing worse than trying to sleep in summer on those disgustingly hot nights!
We also love their zero disturbance technology which means you won’t feel your partner tossing and turning or getting in and out of bed. This is important for us as I’m quite a restless sleeper and Dan is a light sleeper! He also starts work two hours earlier than me so he can get up of a morning feeling rested and also not wake me up!
Our mattress is also ultra bouncy! Gone are the days of choosing between a rock hard mattress or a soft mattress that sinks under your weight!

    THE KOALA MISSION

One of the biggest things that drew me to Koala in the first place was their mission which is not only to enhance the sleeping experience of Aussies, but also to protect the future of one of our national icons, the koala. So whenever you buy a Koala Mattress you are also adopting a real live koala in a partnership with the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie. The adoption helps with the rescue and treatment of sick and injured koalas and the Koala Hospital aims to return as many healthy koalas back into the wild as possible. In addition you will also be helping to preserve and expand the koala’s natural habitat whilst supporting research that relates to habitat, diseases and the behaviour of koalas. You’ll even receive an official certificate of adoption for your koala! If you are planning a visit to Port Macquarie the Koala Hospital is open daily and there is guided tours each day if you want to learn more about the work they do.

I know the Koala Hospital really well and the work that they do as I grew up in beautiful Port Macquarie and recently moved back with Dan when we returned from the UK. Port Macquarie has the largest population of koalas on the East Coast of Australia. We’re so lucky to live among koalas and see them as part of our everyday! Dan still pinches himself a little every time we see one as in the UK they obviously don’t have koalas! This photo was taken a few weeks after we arrived back in Australia and this koala came strolling past our house!

A TOP QUALITY MATTRESS AT A THIRD OF THE PRICE

I’m the sort of person who reads reviews on everything before I buy or book anything. I hate being given sales pitches as I’m not good at saying no and find salesmen really pushy. I read a lot of reviews about a lot of mattresses before I committed to purchasing our Koala mattress. In all my research I didn’t come across a simple negative review of Koala and every review I read from customers, online articles and CHOICE magazine was positive and sang praises of the company and mattresses. I’m happy to say they didn’t lie and here I am happily writing an article about JUST HOW GOOD Koala mattresses are so hopefully everyone will know!

I like that Koala cut out the salesmen, the showrooms and all the additional charges which more often than not leads to highly inflated retail costs. Koala cuts this out by designing, making, selling and delivering the mattress directly to you at a fraction of the price. We paid $950 for our Queen sized Koala mattress and I can honestly say that every dollar was well spent. It has been almost a month since we received our mattress and we’ve literally never slept better! Dan is a tradesman and sometimes gets a sore back after a big day at work but even he has said that the mattress has made a huge difference and he hasn’t had a sore back at all.

We’ve raved almost non-stop about how comfortable the mattress is since we started sleeping on it, so much so that my parents purchased one for themselves last week! Their current mattress is only a few years old and it was the “top of the line” mattress when they purchased it, costing them over $3,000 at a local store. My parents are both very healthy, active and fit but neither sleep well and complain of sore backs and their uncomfortable mattress. I’m really excited to hear how they find their Koala mattress once they put it on their bed this weekend and will update this post when they do to let you all know how they find it!

    PROUDLY AUSTRALIAN MADE
Unfortunately these days it is quite rare to find anything that is Australian made. I love that Koala’s mattresses are Australian made. Koala do so as it makes more jobs for Aussies and also allows them full control over the quality of the mattresses!

    Koala Mattress Sales Process

    OUR KOALA MATTRESS
Delivery of the mattresses is free Australia wide and if you live in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide then your Koala mattress will arrive on your doorstep within 4 hours (as long as you order before 2pm on a weekday)! If you live outside these metro areas (like us) then delivery can take 1-5 business days! Ours only took 2 days and we were provided with SMS updates the entire time so we knew when our Koala mattress was on its way.

It literally couldn’t have been more simple to set up our mattress. We unboxed the rolled up mattress, cut off the plastic using the special unwrapping tool and unrolled our mattress! You can sleep on them straight away but we left ours overnight as we were in the process of moving and hadn’t set up our furniture yet. It was pretty impressive to see the size of the mattress when we opened it considering how it was wrapped up in the box.

The next day we moved in all of our furniture and our mattress fit perfectly on our new bed. We’d purchased new furniture as we’d been living with my parents since we arrived back in Australia. I was really excited to purchase really good quality furniture and items that I know will last us a long time (and also look great) and to finally see them all set up. I am so happy that we also purchased our mattress from Koala, it is of such high quality but was also at a price that we were happy to pay (and didn’t break the bank)!

We live on a really quiet street and have no neighbours across the street, just nature reserve. I love relaxing on our bed, looking out at the lovely views and listening to all the native birds that live in our trees. Our room is still a work in progress as I am waiting for a few canvases I have ordered to arrive. We’ve ordered canvases with some of our favourite travel photos of the Cinque Terre in Italy and the Greek Islands for our bedroom and I can’t wait for them to arrive. Until then we’ve got a lovely print I picked up in Italy a few years ago hanging above our bed. I am in love with our bedding, furniture and accessories which really tie in well with the coastal luxe decor I am going for. I find our bedroom an oasis of relaxation and tranquility where I love spending time both during the day and of an evening. Oh and I really struggle to get up and off the bed when I need to, whether it is in the morning or during the day as it is SO ridiculously comfortable!

    FINAL THOUGHTS
One month in and we are absolutely in love with our mattress (if you can’t already tell). Sleep is such an important part of our lives to ensure we are healthy, productive and most importantly, happy! We are so happy in our new house and are sleeping soundly and blissfully every single night. We’re Koala converts and over the last month have pretty much told everyone we know about them, and now we are telling you guys!

So if you are in the market for a new mattress and are considering purchasing a Koala (which we highly recommend) make sure you take advantage of their Refer a friend program where by using my referral code you will get $100 off your purchase when you check out and we will get a $50 gift card… it really is a win win!

  • HOW TO TRAVEL THE MALDIVES ON A BUDGET: IT’S POSSIBLE!

The Maldives is a fascinating country to travel to independently, not least because it’s only been possible to do so for the past five years. Now, guesthouses are springing up on local islands on a seemingly monthly basis, offering budget travellers an affordable way to explore the country.

And, in many ways, travelling on a budget in the Maldives is far superior to staying in one of the luxury resorts. Each resort is built on its own island, isolating you from the rest of the country so you never get a chance to experience local life. Staying on the local islands has given me an insight into life in the Maldives that very few people have experienced so far.

Fast Cover is Travel insurance made simple. We understand there are a million things to organise before you travel and getting your Travel Insurance just needs to be fast and simple. At Fast Cover, our fast online sign-up process is the simplest and fastest you’ll find. Plus you can be rest assured our high quality policies are backed by the financial strength of insurance giant Hollard and feature Worldwide 24/7 and Emergency Medical Assistance. In just a few simple steps, we’ll get you covered and you can concentrate on getting away.

    But things are changing rapidly.
The number of guesthouses on some of the more popular islands are doubling each year as more and more travellers turn up in search of paradise on a budget. On one of the islands I visited, Dave and I were the only tourists — we had every beach to ourselves! I suspect this won’t be as commonplace five years from now.
So, now is the perfect time to travel to the Maldives.
I spent three weeks in the country and visited three of the local islands — Maafushi, Fulidhoo and Guraidhoo. I also splurged on two nights on a resort stay at Olhuveli Island in an overwater bungalow so that I could experience the differences between the two ways of travelling.

How much does it cost to travel the Maldives on a budget? As little as $50 a day. As a budget traveler, you can expect to spend $30 a day on a private room in a guesthouse; $10 a day on food; and $10 a day on activities. But there are, of course, ways to do it even cheaper.
Here’s everything you need to know about travelling in the Maldives on a budget.

Independent and Budget Travel is Very New to the MaldivesTourism in general is relatively new to the Maldives. The first resort opened in 1973 and for thirty years, the only way to visit as a tourist was via these expensive island resorts.
Seven years ago, however, the government changed its regulations to allow guesthouses to open on the local islands. For the first time, tourists were allowed to stay with locals and gain an insight into Maldivian life. At present, many budget travellers remain unaware that it’s possible to do this. When I visited, I felt like one of the only independent travellers in the country — I even turned up on one island and learned that my boyfriend, Dave, and I were the only tourists currently staying there!
When I arrived at Male airport, Dave and I were the only backpackers in sight. We were the only people to walk through the airport without a travel agent greeting us, and we were the only non-locals taking a ferry over to a local island.
Any downsides? At times, it felt like I was invading the islands against the locals’ wishes. I felt as though Dave and I were regarded with suspicion — or perhaps curiosity. On some of the smaller islands, our greetings of “hello” towards the locals were often ignored, as we received little more than stares in exchange. I don’t know if they were shy, or curious, or even angry that we were on their island home. This did, however, occur predominantly with the older residents.

Having said all that, the majority of the locals were friendly and welcoming and happy to chat. It was just the occasional stare that left me feeling like I was intruding.
Additionally, while Dave and I were mostly left alone when walking as a couple, when I was wandering the islands alone, the local women were all excited to chat to me. Whether it was just to say hello, or to offer me a piece of Maldivian chocolate to try, travelling as a solo female offers a different experience to travelling as a couple, and I felt 100% safe while alone there.
It Can Be Done CheaplyThe Maldives were always my dream honeymoon destination for a couple of reasons.
    1. It looked like it had the best beaches in the world
    2. The resorts were very expensive.
I’d assumed that the Maldives was a once in a lifetime destination that I’d visit only for a very special occasion.

Finding Cheap Transport: Transport is also cheap. Local ferries run on a somewhat infrequent schedule but shouldn’t cost more than $2-4 for a three hour journey. We paid $0.60 for the ferry from Male Airport to Male, $3 for the ferry from Male to Maafushi, $4 for the ferry from Maafushi to Fulidhoo, and $2 for the ferry from Maafushi to Guraidhoo.
If you want to visit a resort, you’ll have to pay for a speedboat, as the local ferries don’t stop at the resort islands. These speedboats are very expensive — we were quoted $280 per person return trip for a 45 minute journey, or $200 per person return for a ten minute journey. One possibility could be to turn up at the nearest local island, and ask around to see if a local fisherman will take you across on his boat. We managed to arrange a transfer from Guraidhoo to Olhuveli (which, by the way, was incredible, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a resort stay) for $40 per person return trip — but given that the resort was only 6 kilometres away, this is still pretty pricey.
Avoid the seaplanes if you’re travelling on a budget — these will usually cost around $500 return for a 20 minute journey.

There’s So Little Information AroundI’ve never visited a country where independent travel is so new, and it certainly made planning a little tricky.
I’m a chronic over-planner, so trying to choose between islands while having no idea what they were going to be like left me more than a little anxious. The first thing I do when I decide I want to go somewhere is head to Google Images. I’m a visual person and I like to see exactly where I’m going. When I did this with the Maldivian islands, I came across stock photos of the Maldives, photos of resorts, and satellite photos of islands. I wasn’t sure if any of the photos were actually of the islands we were going to.
Searching for detailed information was just as tricky. Most of the islands had a paragraph on Wikipedia mentioning their size and population, and that was mostly it. I couldn’t find any travel blog posts, I couldn’t find any online travel guides. The best I could find were a few TripAdvisor reviews of guesthouses that briefly mentioned what the islands were like.
Update 2017: This is quickly changing as more and more travel bloggers get wind of how easy it is to travel the Maldives on a budget. Now, you should be able to find a few travel blog posts on various local islands that are within easy reach of Male.

  • HOW TO DRESS CLASSY

Appleseed's has been providing classic, high-quality apparel for women across the United States for more than 70 years. They believe that "classic is ageless," and focus on comfortable, casual, updated styles for the fastest growing generation of women in history- the baby boomers of today who deserve the best of what life has to offer.Their specialty fashion for women over 60, in misses, petites and women's plus sizes, is offered through distinct catalogs and online. They pride themselves on providing the finest quality and value in apparel, plus the personal attention of their friendly customer service representatives.

Is it time for you to change up your style? Add a bit of sophistication and class to your everyday look? Maybe you have a new job, maybe you’ve moved to a new city, or maybe you just need a change to represent who you have become. Are you wondering how to make that transition and how to dress classy? I’ll walk you through the ins and outs of styling yourself with a more sophisticated, chic, and classy style that you can wear for years to come (or the rest of your life!).

Classy styling is timeless. The navy shift dress and camel-colored pumps you buy today will still be wearable ten years from now. Buying one good pair of pearl stud earrings outweighs the 10 pairs of trendy statement earrings that will be passé a year after they are purchased. It is an elegant style that can be worn to work, Sunday brunch, a city shopping trip, or traveling the world. You can even go sailing while rocking a classic look!

Sophisticated dressing is all about key elements and combining them properly. So if you are ready to delve into a new classier look, let’s get started.KNOW YOUR PERSONAL STYLEPersonal style is something that each of us has, we just have to identify it, understand it, and then live it. It projects your mood, personality and you as a whole, reflecting your personal interests, lifestyle, inspirations, and your past. When you find your personal style you know you look great and feel confident when you leave your home. Whether you prefer bohemian, street, high fashion, minimal or classic, you can make your style look classy when the occasion calls for it.

Typically, classic and minimalist styles will look classy all the time, based on the color palettes and clothing options that these styles represent. But don’t discount the other styles when you want to class it up.
Let’s see what it takes to elevate your style to a more sophisticated level…THE BASICS OF DRESSING CLASSY
#1 WEAR ITEMS THAT ARE MADE OF CLASSIC FABRICSClassic, timeless clothing is made of materials that will last well into the next decade. Think: cotton, wool, linen, and silk. These four basic fabrics will stand the test of time if cared for properly. Cleaned and pressed, items made of these fabrics tend to give off a classy vibe all on their own.
These fabrics also have variations that allow you to expand on your wardrobe. Denim is one example of a cotton fabric that cuts across all style lines, from street to boho to minimalist. Similarly, chino cotton works great in pants, blazers and even moto jackets (for the street style in you!). Then there is cashmere, a type of wool that feels heavenly against the skin and doesn’t pill with age. Cashmere sweaters, whether they are cardigans, V-necks, or crewneck pullovers pair perfectly with those denim jeans, as well as tailored pants and skirts.

A word to the wise with these fabrics: Read the labels and care for them properly to make them last. While wrinkle-free cotton has become more available, most cotton items will need to be ironed. (Classy doesn’t do wrinkled!) Wool, linen, and silk often have to be dry-cleaned or hand-washed. Make a mistake and you may have to give your 6-year-old-niece that wool cardigan that was a staple in your wardrobe but shrunk in half thanks to your dryer.#2 IF IN DOUBT WEAR SOLID NEUTRALSBold patterns and prints can definitely work in a classy and sophisticated look, but you may not be comfortable with those, especially if you are just starting out with classy styling. Neutrals are your friend in this case. They are plentiful in the stores (and probably your closet), easily combined with one another, and help to stretch your wardrobe.

Typical neutrals are white/beige/cream, navy blue, black, and gray. Now, don’t think you have to dress head-to-toe in black (or other neutral). Monochromatics (different shades or tints of the same color) allow you to vary a color but still remain classy, or you can add small accents that can transform a solid into something eye-catching, like a skinny burgundy alligator belt, a paisley scarf, or a pair of red pumps. Want to know more about monochromatic dressing? Make sure to read What is Monochromatic and How to Wear a Monochromatic Outfit.#3 FIT IS KEYClassy and sophisticated clothing is typically tailored and form fitting (not too tight, but you can show off that figure). Skirts should hit just above or below the knee, as should your dresses. Classic trousers are straight, slightly wide, faintly bootcut, or menswear inspired and should be ½-inch off the floor in the back. Wide-leg pants and skinny pants in classic fabrics are also acceptable, as are ankle pants (shades of Audrey Hepburn!). Blazers, blouses, and sweaters should follow the curve of your waist.

Do not hesitate to take items to a local seamstress or tailor to be altered to fit properly. Love that shift dress at Nordstroms, but it’s too big in the bust? That’s a $15 fix. Are those gray wool pants in your closet too long for classic 3-inch pumps or do you want to wear them with flats? Another $10-15 fix. Remember, good quality clothes will last you for 10+ years, and it is a small price to pay for alterations. Beats having to replace cheap pants every 3 years.
Not everything you wear has to be perfectly tailored and form-fitting. You can mix in unstructured pieces for a more relaxed vibe. Pair a blue-striped t-shirt with chinos and a denim jacket or a flowy maxi skirt with a crisp white button-down shirt (roll up those sleeves for added panache!).#4 NEVER OVEREXPOSEClassy dressing requires a bit of modesty. No midriff-baring tops, revealing low décolletage, or mini mini skirts.
Necklines are typically collared, boatneck, crew neck or V-neck. For some variety, you can also try square, cowl, and scoop necks, and for more formal times, asymmetrical, sweetheart and halter necklines work as well. Regardless, keep your cleavage and your belly button covered. Additionally, armholes on blouses and dresses should not reveal your bra.

As noted above, hem length on skirts and dresses should be just above or below the knee for everyday wear, with slightly shorter and full-length appropriate for summer events or classic formal wear.#5 DON’T GO OVERBOARD WITH ACCESSORIESSimple jewelry is the best way to go when aiming for a classy and sophisticated style. My recommendations are:Earrings: small silver or gold hoops, pearl or diamond studs.Bracelet: silver or gold bangles (one heavy or several delicate), tennis bracelet, watch (gold or silver with metal or leather band).Necklace: Long pendants, pearls, diamond solitaire, cross.Ring: Not necessary, but if you do, go either delicate or statement. Thin bands, diamonds, or heirloom rings are fine, and everyone should have one cocktail ring to wear to events or dress up your jeans. Stick to ring and/or middle fingers only.Scarf: Scarves are great way to add color and visual interest to a sophisticated outfit, particularly if it is a solid or monochromatic in color.

Again, cotton, silk and wool are your best options. Try multiple colors and fabrics, with light silk or cotton for spring and thicker wool ones for winter. Florals, paisleys, stripes, and solids are great options. And don’t forget your shoes. Yes, shoes are an accessory! Pumps, slingbacks, ballet flats, or boots in solid neutrals, such as cream, navy or black, are your best bet. All go with a multitude of outfits, meaning you won’t need to break the bank for a closet full of shoes. It’s also said that every woman should own a red pair of shoes, and it never hurts to have an animal print to make an outfit pop a bit. (Think leopard print flats with khakis or denim.)YOU DON’T NEED A LOT OF MONEY TO DRESS CLASSYContrary to popular belief, classy outfits don’t have to break the bank. Yes, you can spend $200 on a designer-label button-down shirt, but you can also find one of comparable quality and appearance for $68 at Banana Republic, the Gap or Ann Taylor. And because classic, well-made clothing lasts for years, and even decades, you can often find good bargains at secondhand and thrift stores.

Invest in good quality basics that fit well, and that you can mix and match. Accessories—which are much cheaper than clothing—can help change up your looks and stretch those basics even further.KEEP A PRETTY MANIYour hands, and the jewelry on them, are an extension of your wardrobe, and a reflection of the care you take with your appearance, especially if you are wearing a statement bracelet or ring that brings extra attention to those fingers.
Indulge in regular manicures, either at home or in a salon. Keep nails short to medium in length, opting for a nice round or oval shape, with clear or nude polish or a French manicure. Stay away from stiletto nails and bold or neon colors, as well as nail art and jewels.

NOTE: If wearing sandals or peep-toe shoes, a pedicure is a must. I find that a simple clear gloss or nude colors work best, but you can always go with a classic red or pink.PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILSThey say that the devil is in the details, and dressing classy is no exception. The trick to wearing sophisticated clothing is to keep everything neat, clean, and simple. Make sure that the clothes are flattering on you and colors and patterns are balanced.
All items should be free of wrinkles and color coordinated. Check for holes, loose threads, missing buttons, or a hemline that is frayed. Stick with neutrals with pops of color here and there. Don’t over-accessorize; stick with simple minimal jewelry like a pair of earrings and a watch or earrings and a pendant necklace.
Your hair and makeup also play a role in your overall look. Again, neat and clean. Stay away from metallic eye shadows in loud colors, be careful not to overdo the blush or bronzer, and stick with a neutral or light lip.DRESSING CLASSY AND YOUR PERSONAL STYLEDressing classy doesn’t have to be difficult, but it will take some time to meld your personal style with the new sophisticated way of dressing. Don’t automatically discount the clothing you already have in your closet. You may be able to integrate items in ways you didn’t think possible.

My style is more classic and minimalist but I do like to add color whenever possible. As you can see in this outfit post, I’m wearing a classy dress but with with a pattern that screams personality. The small pops of color don’t overwhelm the dress or me but add to my look.
This dress has all of the details I mentioned above, with the hem ending just above the knees, a crew neckline, and it’s form fitting but not tight. It has that classy shape but with a little attitude.
I’ve paired it with a red handbag, fun metallic pump, and minimal accessories: sunglasses, earrings and a dainty watch. Simple, elegant, sophisticated and it reflects my personal style.

So take a look through that closet again. Maybe you can let the hem down on your favorite skirt or add a cuff to pants that are too long for your ballet flats. And that floral silk blouse? It will look great paired with a neutral skirt and matching pumps. You don’t have to completely give up your own style to be classy and chic, but it will require some effort and modifications.
Are you ready to make the classy transition? Remember classy doesn’t mean boring or without personality. Dressing classy means dressing stylishly and sophisticated. It’s also timeless and elegant.

If you feel like you’re jumping from style to style and don’t have the wardrobe that represents where you are in your life then start integrating the style tips I mention in this post! Shop for pieces that you can wear longer than a season and remember that a good tailor is worth every penny.
I hope this post has answered all your dressing classy questions and you now know how to dress classy. If I missed something leave me a comment and I’ll answer you directly!

  • Essential Kitchen Tools Checklist

Cooking is easier and faster with the right equipment. Stock your kitchen with these basics.
kitchenwarehouse.comcan meet your needs for Kitchen.

    Ladle
Look for a large “bowl” that makes it easy to serve soups. Also, a bent handle at the top allows you to hook the ladle on the side of a pot without it falling in.

    Locking tongs
Select a style with nonslip handles and scalloped tips for a firm grip. Use for turning meats and tossing vegetables in a skillet.

    Metal spatula
An offset thin blade will allow you to get under delicate items like cookies and pancakes. A medium-length blade will prevent flipping or picking up foods at an awkward angle.

    Rubber spatula
Should be sturdy enough to maneuver heavy doughs but flexible enough to get into jar corners. Silicone models are heat-resistant and can be used in pots.

    Slotted spoon
Pick a sturdy spoon with a stainless steel handle that won’t get too hot.

    Whisk
A solid rather than a wired handle will prevent food from getting stuck inside. Buy one with thin wires (not thick, heavy ones) to make sure it’s well-balanced when whipping egg whites or cream.

    For Slicing

    Chef’s knife
Opt for an 8- to 9-inch blade with a thick bolster, the metal that extends from the handle to the edge of the blade and acts as a finger guard while you’re chopping. This knife should feel comfortable in your hand.

    Garlic press
A nice shortcut while chopping: one that works on unpeeled cloves and is dishwasher-safe.
    Kitchen shears
Invest in a sturdy pair with tapered, fine tips and roomy handles.
    Lemon press
The best models are big enough for both a lime and a lemon and have ridges to grip fruit better.

    Microplane grater
For small tasks that require a fine grater—zesting lemons and grating Parmesan, garlic, and nutmeg—use a razor-sharp, stainless steel model.
    Paring knife
The blade should fall between 3 to 4 inches for small, fine cuts like coring tomatoes and peeling fruits and vegetables. A sturdy model’s blade will extend through the handle.

    Potato masher
A curved head will let you get into corners of bowls and pots.

    Serrated bread knife
You want a rigid blade of at least 8 inches and an offset handle, which will let you slice through sandwiches without banging your knuckles on the cutting board.

    Y-shaped vegetable peeler
This will give you a better grip than a traditional swivel model for hard-to-peel foods like mangoes and butternut squash.

  • Late Blooming Passion for Photography Finally Takes Flight

On misty days, the dreaming spires of Mont Saint-Michel — an ancient monastery in Normandy, France — stretch through the tiny water droplets like masts, as if a floating castle had drifted in from the 8th Century.

The medieval monastery’s gothic architecture is a favorite destination for 46-year-old Parisian landscape photographer and photography tutor, Serge Ramelli. Now based in Los Angeles, Serge has been doing professional workshops here and in Paris for the last three years.

“Naturally, people love taking photos of Paris because it’s so beautiful,” Serge says of his students’ preferred workshop destination.

“I can’t fly a drone in Paris. But I can in Mont Saint-Michel,” Serge offers, adding that the stunning island commune, accessible only by a tidal causeway at low tide, is where he and his students spend a whole day taking pictures.

In 2016, Serge has taken to flying his Phantom 4 drone over the site with head-turning results. Here is a video of Mont Saint-Michel that the drone artist shot with one of his students.

Drone Mont Saint Michel from PhotoSerge on Vimeo.

Ever since he was a child, Serge only ever wanted to be an artist. Two subjects interested him greatly, acting and photography. In a way, through his well received online video tutorials and popular workshops, he has achieved just that. But it almost didn’t happen for the late blooming photographer.

“I was a salesman for most of my life. While I enjoyed it, I felt an emptiness inside and didn’t want to arrive at 65 having never really gone for it,” he admits, somewhat philosophically.

11 years ago, at the tender age of 35, Serge resolved to teach himself everything there was to learn about cameras, photography, lighting and post-processing. This period of intense concentration — “I was really going for it” — lasted about four years. By the end, he had secured himself a decent roster of regular clientele. Around this time, the drone photography market had literally started to take off. Serge became “absolutely hooked” by the possibilities of aerial photography.

“My friend got a Phantom 4 when it came out. He got me to play around with it and I was blown away with how easy it was to fly,” Serge says, recalling just how much of an incredible experience his debut flight was. Immediately, Serge rushed back home and started editing what he had shot that day.

Serge’s entrepreneurial spirit, combined with his natural salesmanship, has already resulted in a popular video on YouTube called How to Take Amazing Photos with a Drone!

In the video, Serge takes his Phantom 4 out for a spin and conveys to the viewer first hand what it’s actually like to fly, shoot, and retouch photos with the drone. The film currently has over 17,500 views.

“People always stop to say hello when I do drone photography,” he muses.

“It makes most of the public dream about flying themselves. I think all of us have had those dreams of flying and the drone helps us achieve that.”

From a hobbyist salesman to a full-fledged photography teacher and now drone tutor, Serge’s dreams have certainly taken flight and appear to be flying high for now.

  • Awesome Clothing Tips No Woman Should Ever Miss

It’s Friday night and you’re searching through your wardrobe to put together the right outfit, but you just can’t seem to find anything that matches. Sound familiar? This is the kind of struggle all women have, but things don’t have to be too complicated. You can make your life a lot easier with some clever fashion tips that allow you look your best in any occasions. You can adjust your choices based on your personal style, body type and personality, but most of these tips will work for any of woman out there.

Misspap women's fashion boutique is loaded with current, edgy, street style. The clothing is racy and exciting, definitely inspired by music, and underground fashion. Find sexy women's clothing at great prices, as well as shoes and accessories in unique styles.

    1. Old things must go!

This is where you should start – there’s no room for change if you don’t make it yourself. Open up your closet and take a good look at your clothes. You should ask yourself one simple question – if you were in a store right now, what items from your closet would you buy? It’s a very simple and quite efficient game you should play once in a while. If you want to stop spending hours in front of your closet, it needs to be neat and color coordinated – hoarding clothes always leads to a mess. All clothes you decide need to go shouldn’t be thrown away – donate them! That way, you’ll feel good about it.

    2. Big event coming? Shop with a plan
Whether you’re getting married, or you’re simply attending a black-tie event, you’ll definitely spend a lot of time searching for the right outfit. In order to be efficient and be happy with your choice, you should go shopping with a proper hairstyle, makeup and shoes, so you can see the bigger picture. Also, don’t forget to put on some nice underwear – you don’t want to dismiss a dress that doesn’t look good on you because you haven’t paid attention to your panty line.

    3. Extend the life of your cashmere
The fact of something is called cashmere shouldn’t mean much, so the first step towards a long and happy life of an item made out of cashmere is purchasing a quality item. This material can be processed in many different ways, so you could easily end up with an overpaid poor quality sweater. However, there are some indicators that can show you what are you looking at. First, you should be looking for thick knitted garments, and second, try stretching it – if it pulls back, it’s a good type of cashmere. Chances are, you’ll pay good money for any quality cashmere item, so you should take care of it, which means washing it in cold water by hand.

    4. Stretch new shoes painlessly
There are different ways to avoid calluses, which can really make your day difficult. Most of those problems come from high heels, right? Up until now, I’ve tried different kinds of methods, and the most effective one includes the freezer, believe it or not. If you fill a couple of freezer bags with water, place them in your shoes, and put them into your freezer to stay overnight, you’ll be able to see a huge difference in the morning.

    5. Dress it up in a couple of seconds – bow tie, clip on earrings on flats
We’d all appreciate it if the days were a bit longer, but regarding the fact that’s not about to happen, you should use all kind of trick and tips in order to dress up quickly. A nice touch is always a bow tie – you can make it work with almost anything. If you don’t have any heels near buy, you could class up your flats by placing clip on earrings on them.

    6. Be smart when you buy a jacket
Purchasing jackets, coats and blazers has just one rule – it needs to fit your shoulders. If it’s too tight or too wide, leave it in the store, because this is one thing that’s very difficult to alter, even if you have a good tailor by your side.

    7. The rules of showing skin
Speaking of rules, we should mentioned those regarding showing skin. It’s pretty simple – show one body part at a time. So if you’re showing your cleavage, pay attention you’re not combining that with miniskirts, and the other way around. Looking and feeling attractive shouldn’t be based on how naked you are. A little bit of mystery is always a nice touch.

    8. Treat yourself like a queen
Beauty is connected with health more than you think. Taking care of your health starts with resting – no matter how many responsibilities you have during the day, you shouldn’t let them intervene with your sleep time. You’ve probably heard about something called beauty sleep, and you should know it isn’t a myth. So, invest in your beauty and health by encasing your bed with pure silk.

    9. Make clothes work for you
You know how some people simply know how to wear the right clothes? There’s no mystery there, and actually, you could pull it off, too, by just thinking about what you’re wearing a little bit more. It all depends on how your body is built – you should tend to accent your features in the right way. For example, wearing V neck will make your torso look longer, and wearing nude pups will do miracles for the length of your legs. Embrace your shape and learn to love all its imperfections.

    10. Having trouble with jeans?
You can’t have a fashionable clothing collection without jeans, but it can be hard balancing trendy ones with those which fit you perfectly. The first rule of buying jeans, no matter the type, is that when you’re in doubt regarding the size, you should always go with the smaller size – they’ll stretch after only two washes. If your daily outfit usually consists of jeans, having a glue gun is necessary. It’s a simple way to do your stitches and hams, it doesn’t cost much and you can decorate your denim whatever you find it suitable. When it comes to altering them, make sure you’ve washed them twice before you visit your tailor. A piece of advice – all hems of your jeans should go up to the tops of your shoes.

  • THE ONETEASPOON GUIDE TO BYRON BAY

Sun kissed skin, salt dried hair, we’re on Byron time now baby.

Escaping the grid lock of Sydney, the OneTeaspoon team kick-started Summer with a getaway to the picturesque Byron Bay. With on-duty time spent inside the OneTeaspoon pop-up boutique building walls of denim, hanging chains, and preparing for the congregation of our global teams, off-duty time was spent soaking up Vitamin D, exploring the local goods, and drinking our bodyweight in cocktails. This was a lifestyle we could become accustomed to. Read on for our tips on the best places to crash, to get coffee, to shop up a storm, and get washed away.

    STAY

Capturing the essence of a true Byron Bay getaway, The Byron at Byron offers a total oasis from the outside world – a home away from home. Paying homage to the laid back Byron Bay lifestyle, the Byron at Byron is shrouded in greenery, boardwalks, and lush rainforests. The entire OneTeaspoon team were lucky enough to be nestled up in this humble abode for six luxurious nights, and we just couldn’t get enough. A ten-minute walk gets you down to the beach, or if jungle treks aren’t your thing, opt for cocktails in the pool area, complete with sun beds, fire pits, and a spa. The rooms were light and airy yet fully screened, giving outside nature vibes, minus the mosquitoes. Absolute bliss.

In the mornings you could find half our team discovering their inner zen with dreamy yoga classes in the rainforest, the other half were planted at the buffet breakfast sipping on Bloody Mary’s and lining their stomachs with bacon and eggs ready for round 3. In true OneTeaspoon style by 3pm we were all sprawled out in the poolside day beds, cocktails in hand, and mildly drunk. If you can spare an hour and really want to recoup, book yourself in to The Spa – you won’t regret it. 6 nights later and we were feeling almost relaxed enough to head back to the big smoke.

    EAT

In a converted weatherboard cottage sits our daily port of call for caffeine and snacks, Folk Café. This cool little café is the perfect spot to start your day Byron style, with a local organic plant-based menu, old-school enamel kitchenware, and kitsch 70’s era ceramics. Better yet, it’s located just around the corner from our pop up store in the Habitat Commercial Precinct. Grab yourself a beetroot latte and come say hello!

A local favourite and a must-do for Byron is little rustic café, Bayleaf. Situated in the heart of town, Bayleaf pride themselves on sourcing locally and organically. Soak up the sun and people watch on the outside tables, but be warned, this place fills up fast – Everyone wants a bit of these Instagram worth lunches that are easy on both the eyes and the belly.

Last but not least, definitely spare a second to visit The Farm. Encompassing that Australiana woolshed vibe, the Farm is a cluster of buildings with a bakery, providore, florist, restaurant and bar, surrounded by produce fields.

    SHOP

Utterly cool and endlessly desirable, Byron Bay lives up to its reputation for having it all: shopping, beaches, and good food. Some of our favourites to hit while you’re in town are Spell & The Gypsy Collective, Nikau, Hope & May, and Ahoy Trader. One place you can’t miss is the latest addition to Byron, Habitat, a creative hub with some of Byron’s best offerings. Nestled in the Commercial Precinct, Habitat has a delectable selection of boutiques and eateries, the OneTeaspoon pop up store included. Our Byron Bay store will be open until the end of February so make sure you check it out before it’s gone.

    SWIM

Crystal clear waters, palm leaves, rolling waves – a swim at Wategos Beach is a must and is an office favourite. Arguable one of Australia’s best beaches, this little slice of paradise is haven for surfers and swimmers alike. Pack up a picnic, grab your boards, and get settled in for the day – this is one spot you won’t want to leave.

    1.
    Television
I just don't like telly, to be honest. I don't see why people obsess about it so much, blabbing on about the wonders of television. If I had to get rid of either my television or my laptop, I would get rid of my television. I don't like the programs, it's often rude and offensive and the children's channel is full of some things that really should be saved for the eighteen-and-over channels, they're really not age appropriate. Eight year olds should not be hearing about sex and heavy drinking, and some of these drama programs give completely the wrong idea. Plus, telly is not useful. No, no, no, no and no, I definitely do not agree.

    2.iPhone
Apple introduced the iphone in 2007, and it literally changed the world and how people go about doing their daily activities. It was also the product that paved the way for all other smart phone companies. If you don't believe me, just take a lot at the smart phones that were out before the iphone and what they were capable of.

    3.
    Laptops/Computers

Computers are definitely the best! So many thing you can do with them: Play games/call people/watch TV/take photos and most importantly of course: surf the web! It's great that Nintendo DS comes before Television though!
Laptops/ computers are the best electronic device. Laptops can be taken anywhere and internet is easily available. Computers or laptops are made joining many devices, as we can say one device is better than many, as what they provide are same-player, speaker, internet, can call online (as in mobiles or telephones), watch movies as on television, etc... I say it is the best device which is very much necessary in the modern world not only in the terms of development but also it is very useful in the modern life style or in busy life.

  • WINTER IS COMING: WHAT TO WEAR FOR OUTDOOR WORK

Avoid cotton and goose down to help prevent hypothermia

Group of workers standing outdoors in winter forest settingIn Ontario, working outside during the Canadian winter can leave workers susceptible to illnesses like hypothermia or injuries from frost bite. Hypothermia happens when the body’s core temperature drops below what is required for normal metabolism and body functions.

“Due to the long-term effects and potential fatalities of cold injury, a few ounces of prevention are worth a pound of cure,” says Chris Serratore, Health and Safety Specialist at Workplace Safety North. “Most folks from northern Ontario know the importance of dressing properly for winter. Not only do you need to stay warm and dry to prevent hypothermia during outdoor work, it’s also important to eat properly, stay active, and keep an eye on each other.

“If you know a worker who's new to the region and may be unaccustomed to colder weather, it’s important to stress these simple points, especially dressing for the weather,” adds Serratore.

Dress the part: Avoid cotton and goose down

While working outdoors, winter clothing is your single most important resource to keep warm. It’s essential to dress in loose-fitting layers, which trap heat easily and allow you to adjust clothing as your activities change throughout the day. If overdressed, you’ll work up a sweat as the day progresses.

When you’re less active, sweat starts to cool your body down, so it’s important to wear enough layers to keep warm, but not so hot as to sweat excessively. If you are sweating profusely you may be overexerting yourself; work activities and hydration should be adjusted accordingly. Be sure to add layers of clothing as your activity level decreases. Layers should be made of fabrics that retain warmth when wet such as wool, polyester fleece, and polypropylene (often found in synthetic long-johns).

Cotton is quite possibly the worst fabric to wear for warmth in winter. Once it gets wet from rain, snow or sweat, the cotton will start to extract heat out of the body. The effects are especially noticeable in cotton socks, underwear, or if a cotton T-shirt is the first layer next to skin. Goose down is an excellent insulator when dry, but because it loses almost all its insulating power when wet, it is best to avoid during winter months.

    Layering Systems

Illustration showing three clothing layers for winter workwear

To work comfortably outside, a layering system should be applied to pants, socks, jackets, gloves and hats. It starts with a wicking layer to remove moisture from skin. From there it builds into heavier and more durable fabric to keep you warm.

Wicking Layer: This is the layer next to your skin. To avoid your body cooling down due to sweat, this layer should remove moisture from the skin and transfer it to the next layer. Recommended layers are synthetic or polypropylene long johns, tops and socks – no cotton!

Light Insulating Layer: This goes on after the wicking layer. A light fleece or thin wool sweater is an excellent light insulating layer.

Heavy Insulating Layer:  A heavier fleece or wool sweater begins to trap heat in the body.

Windproof-Waterproof Layer: This protects your body from a variety of weather conditions, from wind to rain or wet snow.

Winter Toque: Thirty to 50 per cent of body heat is lost through the head. A winter hat adds as much warmth as all your layers. In winter conditions, everyone should be wearing a toque. Balaclavas can be worn under toques and are excellent for protecting facial tissue from frostbite, particularly if hard hats are mandatory in extreme cold conditions and you’re working outdoors in the open.

Mitt for working outdoors with separate index fingerGloves and Mitts: Mitts are warmer than gloves but not always practical for work that requires detail. To help with this problem, a thin glove can be worn inside a mitt. This will allow you to remove your mitts for more technical work while not exposing bare skin to the cold. Once work is completed, return your gloved hands promptly to your mitts. Also, mitts with separate index finger are very useful for certain applications.

Photo of winter boots with gaiters strapped onSocks and Gaiters: A two-layer sock system is most recommended for winter travel. A thin polypropylene sock with a wool sock over top allows moisture to be wicked from the feet and wool will stay warm even when wet. Boot size is also important – your toes need wiggle room – avoid a tight fit that restricts circulation. Some workers prefer a single pair of loose-fitting wool and/or synthetic material socks in an insulated boot, and bring a spare pair just in case.

If wearing hiking boots in the bush, gaiters are highly recommended. They prevent snow sliding down into the boots and add warmth by trapping air. Gaiters go on outside of the boot and pant leg and are great for keeping snow from entering boots

Fuel your body: Go ahead and eat up!

Working outdoors requires your body to produce heat to keep you warm. Due to the extreme conditions, it’s best to take in your calories steadily over the day. Six to eight snacks are far better than two heavy meals. Fifty per cent of your nutritional intake should be from carbohydrates such as bread and bagels. Cheese, butter, and meats add a valuable fat content to help keep your body warm.

    Avoid caffeine and alcohol

Hydration is very important for winter work. On average, you should drink about four litres of water or fluids a day. If you only have a one-litre water bottle with you during the day, make sure to consume lots of hot drinks at breakfast and dinner. Drinks with caffeine (coffee or soda), or alcohol should be avoided.

Caffeine and alcohol restrict blood vessels, impeding the body’s ability to heat itself.  In the cold, water bottles will need to be insulated to prevent freezing. Cold air is dryer than warm air and we can easily lose two quarts of water an hour during strenuous activity. You may want to consider a product such as ‘Vitalyte’ as part of an emergency kit to fight of dehydration and help prevent hypothermia.

The buddy system: Check for signs of hypothermia

“If someone in your group has begun shivering, they have mild hypothermia,” says Serratore. “Hypothermia is easiest to treat at this stage, so you should immediately take steps towards a warm drink, warm food and staying active – all of which are quick sources of treatment. A hot drink or meal can do a lot to add heat to the body. As well, an extra layer and a hat or balaclava can help prevent more heat from leaving the body.

“Keeping an eye on each other is not only the key workplace safety concept behind the Internal Responsibility System,” says Serratore, “it’s the best way to ensure that mild cases of hypothermia are nipped in the bud and don’t have the chance to progress to moderate or severe hypothermia.” For those with moderate hypothermia, minimizing movement is recommended along with heating blankets and warmed intravenous fluids. Severe hypothermia can include confusion, lethargy, slurred speech, and loss of consciousness.

“Working outdoors in the wintertime can be a great experience,” says Serratore, “just make sure you’re dressed properly, have adequate food and liquids, and keep an eye on your team members. Never travel and work on your own unless someone knows your route and estimated time of return. And when travelling as a group via snowmobile or ATV be sure to use the buddy system.”

Even if you are only heading out for a few hours, the proper emergency equipment is still essential.

  • Easy To Clean Simply With Lifting And Sifting System

Have you been experiencing allergy and dirt issues at home from your cat’s excrement? Do you want to read about Luuup Litter Box reviews? If you have been nodding with familiarity at these predicaments, then you have come to the right place to get your answers.

These problems have been experienced frequently by cat parents all the time. And, to address this issues that cat parents face at home, we have got a remarkable and well-approved product.

I have also faced this problem in my life. My cat, Kuki, used to poop a lot every time he completed a meal and cleaning up after him every day soon got to be a tiresome routine. It was more problematic since I did not own a proper cat litter box earlier and scooping out excretion from our cardboard-based litter box was difficult. This is when I finally decided to get some professional help in the daily hygiene maintenance of my furry friend.

Hence, I bought a new plastic-based litter box but my search was still ongoing for the perfect type of litter box with the ultimate features catering my lazy self. It is only recently that I came across a new product called the Luuup Litter Box and after experiencing its features, it has almost made me wish that it had existed back in the past when I had vehemently tried solving my own cat excreting problems. I have hence prepared Luuup Litter Box reviews derived from personal experience and product discussion platforms.

Things To Consider Before Buying A Cat Litter Box

A cat litter box is essential for your cat’s hygiene needs. Devoid of a clean litter box, your cat will pick other vicinities of your home to excrete, which can develop to be a smelly and messy panorama for you. However, before you buy a cat litter box, mull on these important considerations.

    1. Size
The most significant component of purchasing a cat litter box is discovering one that is large enough for your kitty. In this case, you must also consider the amount of space you have to place the cat litter box. You can choose from a wide variety of litter box sizes as per your requirements and space available.

Another significant consideration while selecting a cat litter box is the number of cats you own. There should be one litter box for every cat in your home. This means if you have 2 or 3 cats, you should have 2 or 3 litter boxes respectively.

Additionally, the size of your cat or cats is vital when choosing a litter box. If you have a small kitten, the litter box must be easy for it to climb. On the flip side, a large cat will require a big litter box so that it can fit into it snugly without feeling cramped.

    2. Easy to clean
The cat litter box should be easy to clean so that you do not have drudge each and every day cleaning your cat’s litter. You can also go for an automatic or self-cleaning litter box. However, note that it is quite expensive as opposed to a manual litter box.

    3. Scratchless
Since cats have a scratching habit owing to their inquisitive nature, you should buy a cat litter box that is abrasion-resistant, particularly if your cat likes scratching a lot. Such kind of litter box can be a tad costly, but it will remain new even after many years of your cat’s scratching.

    4. Odor Control:
A few litter boxes can confine the smell of cat litter better than others. Thus, look for the one that has a nice odor controlling feature.

When looking out for cat litter boxes, make sure to look into the diverse kinds of cat litter boxes. Also, ensure to locate good places to look into and purchase the apt litter box, like a neighborhood pet supply store or the new online marketplaces.

    What Is Luuup Litter Box?

The Luuup Litter Box is an innovative litter box. This is a redesigned model, which has risen in its popularity among cat owners owing to its easy maneuverable features. This Luuup cat litter box has added functionality, construction, and quality of textiles together with the general aesthetics.

The Luuup Litter Box makes use of 3 similar looking sifting trays, which are nested neatly piled up on each other and work on a lift-and-sift base. When you are geared up to clean up this litter box, you can easily grab the tray at the top and bestow a mild shake on it to let the unused litter base to filter through. Only parts of the clumps stay behind, thus removing the want for an individual scooper.

The Luuup Litter Box’s product information states that it has dimensions of 7.5 (height) x 15.4 (width), and 20.2 (length) inches. It has curved corners, which does not let them cling and clump to the bottom of the litter trays, unlike other kinds of litter boxes. Plus, it has an extra spill-proof guard that can be placed on the apex tray. This adds 2.3 inches more to the total height of the litter box.

The Luuup Litter Box is for large to medium-sized feline breeds. This means people who own such cats can buy this litter box. However, if you have a small kitty, then this is not the best bet for your feline. This litter box works with both hard clumping as well as crystal litter.

Features & Benefits Of Luuup Litter Box Reviews

    1. Does not require a scooper
The Luuup Litter Box gets rid of the traditional cat litter scooper. This is because it is equipped with a sifting mechanism involving three trays that are majorly used to remove the pellet. This means scooping cat litter is a thing of the past for you now. Plus, with it, you don’t have to make your hands dirty as its unique design enables you to discard the blobbed litter in the bin directly.

    2. Anti-microbial spill guard
The Luuup Litter Box comes with an anti-microbial spill guard, which does not let the litter spill on the floor. This means small kittens that have the habit of kicking and old cats will not create a mess when you use this box.

    3. Comfortable for cats
The Luuup Litter Box is quite spacious, which makes the cat feel comfortable. The kitty can pee and poop in this litter box without feeling claustrophobic or trapped.

    4. Modern and innovative design
The Luuup Litter Box has a smart, sleek, and contemporary design as compared to typical square-shaped cat litter boxes. It is offered in one color and one ‘universal’ size, which means it can fit most of the cats with a medium and large built, save for small kittens.

    5. Easy to use, clean, and set up
The Luuup Litter Box is very easy to use for cats and simple to clean and install for cat parents. With it, you can keep your home clean and free of cat litter. You just need to fill the litter box with the litter product and after the cat has pooped, you just have to sift the tray and get out the waste from it.

We love our cats but we also love our homes and that’s why we’re committed to bringing fresh and forward-thinking pet products to life. Our first design challenge was creating a litter box that was both functional and stylish. With countless hours of care and consideration from our team of designers, we created a litter box that we’re proud of.

Before we got started, we listened to cat families who shared their ups and downs about cleaning up after their furry friends. The result is a litter box that’s less of a hassle for you and more welcome in your home. That’s why you’ll find the little extras like sloped sides that help minimise sticking and a stylish spill guard that hugs our 3-tray system while keeping unnecessary messes at bay.

  • How to Lose Weight Fast: 3 Simple Steps, Based on Science

Nashua Nutrition specializes in high quality weight loss and bariatric products used by physicians and weight loss centers at discount prices. Buy weight loss and diet foods, diet meals, diet shakes, diet drinks, diet bars, diet pills and liquid diet protein supplements. To save money, you can come to icoupon365.com for more coupons and discount codes.

There are many ways to lose a lot of weight fast.
However, most of them will make you hungry and unsatisfied.
If you don't have iron willpower, then hunger will cause you to give up on these plans quickly.

The plan outlined here will:Reduce your appetite significantly.Make you lose weight quickly, without hunger.Improve your metabolic health at the same time. Here is a simple 3-step plan to lose weight fast.

    1. Cut Back on Sugars and StarchesThe most important part is to cut back on sugars and starches (carbs).

These are the foods that stimulate secretion of insulin the most. If you didn't know already, insulin is the main fat storage hormone in the body.
When insulin goes down, fat has an easier time getting out of the fat stores and the body starts burning fats instead of carbs.
Another benefit of lowering insulin is that your kidneys shed excess sodium and water out of your body, which reduces bloat and unnecessary water weight (1, 2).
It is not uncommon to lose up to 10 pounds (sometimes more) in the first week of eating this way, both body fat and water weight.

Cut the carbs, lower your insulin and you will start to eat less calories automatically and without hunger (4).
Put simply, lowering your insulin puts fat loss on "autopilot."BOTTOM LINE:Removing sugars and starches (carbs) from your diet will lower your insulin levels, kill your appetite and make you lose weight without hunger.

    2. Eat Protein, Fat and Vegetables

Each one of your meals should include a protein source, a fat source and low-carb vegetables. Constructing your meals in this way will automatically bring your carb intake into the recommended range of 20-50 grams per day.

Protein Sources:Meat - Beef, chicken, pork, lamb, bacon, etc.Fish and Seafood - Salmon, trout, shrimps, lobsters, etc.Eggs - Omega-3 enriched or pastured eggs are best. The importance of eating plenty of protein can not be overstated.

This has been shown to boost metabolism by 80 to 100 calories per day .
High protein diets can also reduce obsessive thoughts about food by 60%, reduce desire for late-night snacking by half, and make you so full that you automatically eat 441 fewer calories per day... just by adding protein to your diet.

When it comes to losing weight, protein is the king of nutrients. Period.
Low-Carb Vegetables:BroccoliCauliflowerSpinachKaleBrussels SproutsCabbageSwiss ChardLettuceCucumberCeleryFull list here.Don’t be afraid to load your plate with these low-carb vegetables. You can eat massive amounts of them without going over 20-50 net carbs per day.

A diet based on meat and vegetables contains all the fiber, vitamins and minerals you need to be healthy. There is no physiological need for grains in the diet.
Fat Sources:Olive oilCoconut oilAvocado oilButterTallowEat 2-3 meals per day. If you find yourself hungry in the afternoon, add a 4th meal.
Don’t be afraid of eating fat, trying to do both low-carb AND low-fat at the same time is a recipe for failure. It will make you feel miserable and abandon the plan.
The best cooking fat to use is coconut oil. It is rich in fats called medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). These fats are more fulfilling than others and can boost metabolism slightly.

There is no reason to fear these natural fats, new studies show that saturated fat doesn’t raise your heart disease risk at all.
To see how you can assemble your meals, check out this low carb meal plan and this list of 101 low carb recipes.BOTTOM LINE:Assemble each meal out of a protein source, a fat source and a low-carb vegetable. This will put you into the 20-50 gram carb range and drastically lower your insulin levels.

    3. Lift Weights 3 Times Per Week

You don't need to exercise to lose weight on this plan, but it is recommended.
The best option is to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Do a warm up, lift weights, then stretch.

If you're new to the gym, ask a trainer for some advice.
By lifting weights, you will burn a few calories and prevent your metabolism from slowing down, which is a common side effect of losing weight.
Studies on low-carb diets show that you can even gain a bit of muscle while losing significant amounts of body fat.

If lifting weights is not an option for you, then doing some easier cardio workouts like running, jogging, swimming or walking will suffice.BOTTOM LINE:It is best to do some sort of resistance training like weight lifting. If that is not an option, cardio workouts work too.Optional - Do a "Carb Re-feed" Once Per WeekYou can take one day "off" per week where you eat more carbs. Many people prefer Saturday.
It is important to try to stick to healthier carb sources like oats, rice, quinoa, potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruits, etc.

But only this one higher carb day, if you start doing it more often than once per week then you're not going to see much success on this plan.
If you must have a cheat meal and eat something unhealthy, then do it on this day.
Be aware that cheat meals or carb refeeds are NOT necessary, but they can up-regulate some fat burning hormones like leptin and thyroid hormones.

You will gain some weight during your re-feed day, but most of it will be water weight and you will lose it again in the next 1-2 days.

BOTTOM LINE:Having one day of the week where you eat more carbs is perfectly acceptable, although not necessary. What About Calories and Portion Control? It is NOT necessary to count calories as long as you keep the carbs very low and stick to protein, fat and low-carb vegetables.

However, if you really want to, then use this calculator.

Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. These are the most fattening things you can put into your body, and avoiding them can help you lose weight.
Drink water a half hour before meals. One study showed that drinking water a half hour before meals increased weight loss by 44% over 3 months. Choose weight loss-friendly foods (see list). Certain foods are very useful for losing fat. Here is a list of the 20 most weight loss-friendly foods on earth.Eat soluble fiber.
Studies show that soluble fibers may reduce fat, especially in the belly area. Fiber supplements like glucomannan can also help.

The internet in general and the Gentleman’s Gazette in particular offer plenty information on how to dress, live, and behave like a gentleman. In our guides, we always try to provide lists of quality manufacturers for various price groups but nevertheless these things are sometimes unaffordable, especially if you are still in school, if you are at the beginning of your career or if your job simply doesn’t pay that much. While good quality always has its price, the Gentleman’s Gazette has always tried to cater to the man interested in classic style, no matter the size of your wallet.

Today, we focus on Tips On How To Dress Like a Gentleman On A Budget. This is particularly helpful to people who have quite a bit of time, but not a lot of money.
If you have quite a bit of money, but not a lot of time, you should NOT follow this guide as your time is worth a lot and buying things new is more advantageous to you. If you have no money and not time, this guide can still be helpful.
In my experience, most men fall into one of the two groups: people who can’t afford certain things, and people who don’t have access to these things. On top of that, many men lack the knowledge, and they don’t know what suits them and what they need.

This kind of man lives in a metropolitan area with plenty of stores to choose from. They read online magazines such as Gentleman’s Gazette; good clothing is familiar, and they know tailors, suit silhouettes, and craftsmen by name. However, this man’s finances don’t stretch to these indulgences.

You are surrounded by all these wonderful goods, but you just can’t afford them – at least new. Be consoled. You still have a big advantage to the ones who can’t buy anything of quality even if they had the ability. Here are a few ideas to help get around.

You need to know your clothes measurements, plain and simple. Keep a spreadsheet, or better yet, memorize them. You’ll be best served by learning about your body’s quirks and needs, and how clothing needs to adapt.  For example, my right shoulder hangs about 1.5″ lower than my left one.  This means my armhole has to be cut deeper, and I either need a shoulder pad on the right, or the cut of the shoulder has to be different. Moreover, the sleeve has to be set in differently. I have a slightly rounded back and one arm is half a centimeter (one-fifth of an inch) longer. My right leg is slightly bigger than my left one. The fit is the most important thing when it comes to clothes.

Chances are in the beginning. You won’t even notice the asymmetry of your body. On the other hand, it won’t take a trained tailor very long to point them out once he sees you. If you want to figure out what your body’s characteristics are, wear a garment off the rack because it is symmetrical. Then have somebody take pictures 360°. It is imperative for you to stand naturally. Otherwise, the result will not help but hurt you. Once you know your measurements, spotting well fitting (usually vintage or slightly used) clothing online will be much easier.

Care properly for the items you already own, because you will get a lot more wear out of them, and it will be less expensive in the long run. For suits, jackets, trousers, and overcoats that means you should brush them regularly with a clothes brush. If your garment is wrinkled, steam them either in a bathroom or better with a steamer. Hang your overcoats and jackets on wide hangers and if you can’t afford Butler Luxury quality, go with plastic suit hangers. Shops often give them away for free.

  • Valentine's Day Say "I Love You " with Fannie May

Choosing chocolate for a  baking project can be intimidating. Many recipes might specify a cocoa percentage--say, 65% cocoa solids--but when you get to the store, your only options appear to be milk, semi-sweet, or dark. Or, even more confusingly, they may say "good quality" or "best quality" chocolate, and what does THAT even mean?

    What Does "Quality Chocolate" Mean?
The question of what constitutes "quality chocolate" is a bit trickier to determine, and much more subjective.Sure, there are some cheap chocolates that have a bad flavor, be it burnt, or sickly-sweet, or slightly rancid, but by and large, choosing the best chocolate for your project will be a matter of your personal taste. As long as you are staying true to what cocoa percentage or type of chocolate the recipe specifies, you have a lot of latitude in choosing chocolate.

People often ask me, "What is the BEST chocolate I can buy?" and then they're frustrated when I don't just provide them with one answer. The truth is, there's not a "best" chocolate. There are some brands that are widely perceived to be high quality, and those are listed at the bottom of this article. But I've found that I like some of them much more than others, and you may find that you have some clear favorites as well.

Cost is one major concern when picking a "quality chocolate" for a project. The truth is, chocolate can be very expensive.Depending on the brand, you can be paying $10-20/lb for the chocolate, which can add up in a hurry! And it may be true that one $20/lb brand is fantastic, but there's an $8/lb brand that's almost as good. Sometimes, the "best" chocolate for a projectmay not be the one that tastes the best, but instead will be the one that fits the budget and still tastes good.

How Do You Know Which Chocolate Tastes the Best
That may seem like a funny question, but many people feel intimidated to make a judgment call about what constitutes good chocolate. Chocolate, like wine, has developed a bit of a snobby reputation, and I regularly get emails from people expressing frustration with not knowing how to taste chocolate and trust their own tastebuds! I stand by my conviction that chocolate does not have to be made so complicated, but for those truly serious about the business of tasting and choosing chocolate, there are some best practices to consider.

    Choosing Chocolate Like the Pros
Selecting chocolate should primarily be a sensory experience. Before you taste the chocolate, look at it closely. You want chocolate that has a glossy surface and is free from blemishes. If the surface is scarred, cloudy, or gray, this may be a sign that the chocolate is old or has been subject to extremes in temperature or handling. Next, break the chocolate into pieces. You want a chocolate with a clean, hard “snap” to it. If it bends or crumbles, either the quality is low or the chocolate is old.
Good chocolate will smell strongly of chocolate. Rub your fingers over the surface to warm the chocolate, and then smell the bar.

If it doesn’t smell like chocolate, or if it smells primarily of vanilla or other added ingredients, it probably won’t taste very much like chocolate either. Chocolate easily picks up odors from its environment, so be aware if your chocolate smells like coffee, tea, or other aromatic foodstuffs.
Finally, taste the chocolate. Pay attention to the way it melts in your mouth: does it feel waxy? Unpleasantly chewy or dense? Does it leave a slightly slippery feeling? Does it feel sandy, or smooth? In general, a smooth, velvety mouthfeel is preferred. Also, notice what flavors you can find in the chocolate. Common descriptions of chocolate notes include floral, citrus, berry, coffee, and wine undertones. Notice if the flavor bursts out all at once, or if it gradually builds in intensity and lingers after the chocolate has left.
Above all, trust your own taste buds. Chocolate preference is very personal, and you know what tastes good to you, so select chocolate that you will enjoy eating.
