Leona Edmiston is one of Australia’s leading fashion designers, Leona Edmiston began in the 1980’s with her first fashion label, Morrissey Edmiston shared with former business partner Peter Morrissey. The Morrissey Edmiston label received significant local and international recognition and dressed a string of celebrity clients including Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue, Elle Macpherson, Michael Hutchence, Helena Christensen, Harry Connick Jr. and Jon Bon Jovi.



Leona launched her solo label with business partner Jeremy Ducker in 2001.  The label, entitled ‘Leona Edmiston,’ is a tribute to the dress in all its incarnations. A Leona Edmiston Frock is elegant, versatile and ageless.

Leona uses a variety of fabrics from her signature sleek jersey to soft luxurious silks and crisp cottons. Prints and colour blocks are a favourite. The fabrics compliment the style and flattering cuts of the frocks, they allow for confidence during the day and sheer elegance during the evening, taking you from the ‘office to opera’ with ease.
Leona Edmiston’s success has seen the label extend into two diffusion collections named ‘Leona’ and ‘Ruby,’ ‘Little Leona’ for  the little ladies, and has fuelled accessories collections including eyewear, Heels, Purses and Leona Edmiston PINS, as well as a signature fragrance, candle and even a chocolate collection.



Leona Edmiston is the unquestionable doyenne of Australian Fashion design. With 30 years of her effortless style, glamour and sophistication gracing the catwalks, workplace, red carpets and landmarks of the World, Leona’s signature style continues to dazzle.



While Leona rules the creative side of the business, the label would not have seen the success and recognition it has today without the strategic management by Leona’s husband and Managing Director Jeremy Ducker. He has been a driving force in building the brand and the positioning of the business, including the category extensions Ruby, a diffusion collection, Little Leona, for the little ladies, and a range of Lifestyle Accessories, including, Sunglasses, Jewellery, Shoes, Handbags, and Pins, the hugely popular hosiery.





The Leona Edmiston team works with Leona and Jeremy at their stylish showroom, studio and headquarters in the heart of Sydney’s garment district, Alexandria. The brand is further supported by a superior team of sales staff at her 26 store, providing a friendly and fun atmosphere while raising the bar on customer service. Leona was awarded the InStyle Women of Style Fashion award in 2014. She received the Walk of Style plaque in 2015. Leona Edmiston was inducted into the Business Woman’s hall of fame in 2016.



Leona has a long and engaging history of working with charitable organizations. Leona is an ambassador for the Children’s Medical Research Institute and Barnardos Australia. She also volunteers her time and product to Dress for Success.
